Fan Contributions

Since the Bluegrass fans are literally the "voice of the people" we want to know what you have to say! You may submit original material that is not copyright (unless you own the copyright). Submissions should reflect your honest and thoughtful point-of-view. This is your opportunity to be heard. We are seeking national and international content for the following:

• Letters to the Editor: Here's your chance to tell us what you think. Ask a question, give your opinion or discuss your views on the industry.
• Bluegrass Festivals: Have you recently attended a festival and would like to share the experience with other fans? If you are planning to attend a festival and would like to submit a review of the festival, send the name and date of the festival along with your contact information to the Editor.
• Parking Lot Pickers: There's a lot going on behind the scenes at festivals - let us know about it. Relate a funny story or write about anything that happened in "the parking lot."
• Jokes: Heard any good Bluegrass picker jokes? Share them with other readers.
• Memorials: If there is a special person you would like to pay personal tribute to or one who has touched your life in some way, we welcome your sumission of a permanent memorial.
• News: If you have Bluegrass related news, we want to hear about it. Let others know what you organizations, clubs or jams are doing.
• Special Events or Programs: Are you involved in a special program that aims to increase awareness of American Traditional Music? Are you currently preparing to bring a special program or event to your community? Let iBluegras Magazine help you spread the word.

iBluegrass.com maintains a staff of reporters, reviewerss, columnists and features writers whose monthly submissions keep readers coming back each month. They have been selected based on their knowledge of the industry and their willingness to share their experiences and opinions. Most of these contributors are professional members of the acoustic industry and/or have written or publish information outside of iBluegrass.com.

• Reviews: If you wish to submit a CD, Festival, Video, Product or Book review, please obtain prior approval from iBluegrass. Most CD Reviews are scheduled in advance and written by regular review staff. If you are interested in being considered for a regular review postition, send your musical preferences along with contact information and writing examples to the Editor.
• Feature/General Interest Articles: Submit a written outline of article for approval. If you are interested in becoming a regular contributor, send examples of your writing along with contact information to the Editor.
• Monthly Columns: If you have an idea for a monthly column or are interested in developing a new column, we'd like to hear your ideas. Send your ideas, along with contact information to the Editor.

Ocassionally iBluegrass.com considers contributions from other related professional entities in the form of Infomertial Content. If you have a special service, product or organization of interest to our readers that can be submitted in an organized and entertaining format, please contact the Marketing Director to discuss your ideas.
